I believe in a God

who alone

has the right

to decide the season

and the hour

for the blooming

and the fading

of a flower

So stay my mind

and hand

from interference

with my creator’s plan

Pain

death

life

birth

are our lot

upon this earth

But reward

and certain joy

will be ours forevermore

if to him we will entrust

the cycle called life

from dust to dust

Rest from our control

is really trust.
