Jervae Brooks (Sonrise Magazine Editor)Author. Retired in 2021 after 40 years of service at Aglow International. A longtime member of Sonrise, she has authored a number of books, most recently Sustained for the Journey, available through the preceding link as well as at the Sonrise bookstore. Raisa Estrada (Artist). Is a member of the Prophetic Art team at Sonrise and has been going to this church since 2011. Diane Fink (Author) Ordained as minister and commissioned as prophet by her church. She equips people throughout the United States and has spoken in more than 20 nations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Her desire is to bring Spirit-empowered change to others through her speaking, writing, and prophetic ministry, by imparting practical wisdom, spiritual insight, and sound Biblical teaching. She currently serves as Director of the School of the Prophets for Seattle Bible College. Tom Giesecke (Sonrise Magazine Editor) Author. Grew up in Olympia, WA, where he received Christ at age 15.  He graduated from Davidson College, NC, and Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA. After his medical internship at the National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, MD, he trained and served as a U.S. Navy Flight Surgeon for four years. Following residency training, he served thousands of people as a Board-certified Family Physician for more than thirty-five years. Learning of God’s love motivates Tom to daily search the Scriptures for more. Tom has led Bible studies for many years and enjoys sharing “the word of God, and recently publishing a book (find in the Sonrise Bookstore and Amazon) on the grace of God: Gracious Goodness.” Reach Tom at tomgiesecke@comcast.net

Amy J. Heath (Sonrise Magazine Art Director, Magazine Manager) Author. Grew up here in Everett, Washington and graduated from Mariner High School. Author of Creative Heart a 31-day devotional inviting you to join Amy’s journey with Father God in a Creative way. Each day has a painting with the thoughts she shared with God about the meaning of the picture and then invites you on the next page to write or draw the inspiration you gathered while reading and viewing Amy’s painting. The goal of this book is to help you express creatively your thoughts. Creative Heart can currently be found at the Sonrise Christian Center bookstore.

Ann Jackson: (Artist) I am married to my High School sweetheart, and we just celebrated our 44th marriage anniversary in May 2023.  We have four children, and nine Grandchildren.I am involved with a couple great home groups at church. Besides singing, I paint, garden, and am learning to heard sheep with our dog Amos.

Christy Mawet: (Artist). Prophetic Art is part of the multi-colored, creative expression of how we worship our Lord. I love it! I now paint a form of live demonstration Art during worship services at my church, at large conferences and special events. I started out many years ago studying Art at W.W.University and pursued it more seriously as an oil portrait painter studying under Master Artist Ron Lucas. Dennis Morrison: (Author) Being part of Sonrise since 2001 has given me several kingdom opportunities. It was a real joy helping in Kid’s Church for 18 years. I’ve been part of the Sonrise team praying for people at the Northshore Healing Rooms in Bothell. My most recent surprise adventure was publishing and offering for free “God’s 373 Names” to many people. Find it at the Sonrise Bookstore.

 
Barbara Neiman: (Author) With God’s guidance I’ve written four books, led writers support groups, and taught workshops under the title of Truly Creative Writing.  
I so deeply enjoy life with the awesome relationship I have with God and appreciate how He uses me as a writer and speaker and having the gift of personal prophecies is a very special sweet spot in my life too, because I get to be a link between God and man to deliver His loving blessings to those He chooses.  Reach me at twointouch@comcast.net

Joyce Olsen (Sonrise Magazine Editor) Author. Majored in Child Psychology and Elementary Education at Biola University and Fresno State University in California. However, her natural bent seemed to better match business and administration. In those fields, she worked in corporate administration, church administration, and also as an Information Security Analyst in the medical field. Jenny Andersons is a natural born Seattleite and has lived in Washington all her life.  She has faced many years of struggles including losing her sight to Stargardt Macular Degeneration.  Trusting in God is a daily priority.  Jenny has two grown boys, Daniel 43 and Robert 41, and a six-year-old granddaughter Noel.  Jenny is seeking her bachelor’s degree in Practical Theiology from Seattle Bible College.  Jenny’s favorite hobbies are concerts, time with family and friends, boating, and traveling.

Ann Kathleen Hunt (Artist) it has only been since my 40’s that I started drawing/painting. I’ve loved stories and writing since I was in grade school.  I come from a family of artists and musicians.  I have been married to Adrian Hunt for 39 years.  We have 5 wonderful adult children with hopes of grandchildren in the future.  I have known Christ all of my conscious life but was born in the Spirit when I was pregnant with my last child, Anna.  Sonrise Christian Center became a very important part of my life when I started going to The Mother’s Prayer Group.  Deborah, Amber and Lorna (the leaders) have and still continue to influence my relationship with God.  Both Pastors John and Dan are amazing preachers/teachers and I keep bringing anyone I know, who is interested, to the church.
